This position is ideal for a technician with experience in CCTV, access control, and integrated security systems who can work independently, solve technical problems, and deliver high-quality installations and service. •Please read all the expectations and only apply if you can demonstrate this level of experience. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare, and government facilities and may occasionally travel to remote Alaska locations. Primary Responsibilities Install, program, test, and maintain CCTV, access control, intercom, and related electronic security systems. Troubleshoot and repair system, network, and hardware issues. Configure IP cameras, NVRs, servers, access control panels, card readers, and door hardware. Install and terminate low-voltage cabling. Perform system installation, testing, and customer training. Complete service documentation and project records. Coordinate with project managers, customers, and other trades to ensure successful project completion. Maintain a safe work environment and comply with company safety policies. Required Qualifications Knowledge of CCTV, access control, and low-voltage electronic systems. Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Basic understanding of IP-based security systems and networking fundamentals. Valid Alaska driver's license (or ability to obtain one). Ability to pass a local and federal background check. Demonstrated communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift equipment, work on ladders, and perform field work in various weather conditions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience installing and servicing CCTV, access control, and related electronic security systems. Experience with commercial electronic locking systems and door hardware. Manufacturer or industry certifications related to electronic security systems.
