Greenway Technologies - Yuma, AZ Full-Time Greenway Technologies is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our growing Yuma team. We are looking for a skilled, dependable professional with hands-on experience installing, modifying, repairing, and servicing commercial fire sprinkler systems. The ideal candidate has solid field experience, understands fire sprinkler system installation, can read plans and specifications, and takes pride in completing safe, code-compliant, high-quality work. Responsibilities Install, modify, repair, and service fire sprinkler systems Install and work with sprinkler pipe, fittings, valves, hangers, sprinkler heads, and related components Read and interpret fire sprinkler drawings, plans, specifications, and installation details Perform system modifications, tenant improvements, and service work Measure, cut, thread, groove, and install piping as required Identify field conditions and communicate potential issues to supervisors and project leadership Maintain accurate documentation of work performed Follow applicable NFPA standards, project requirements, and company procedures Maintain tools, equipment, and assigned company vehicles in a professional manner Follow OSHA requirements and Greenway Technologies safety policies Coordinate effectively with other trades, customers, inspectors, and Greenway team members Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications Required:
Previous professional experience as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter or Sprinkler Technician Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler installation practices Ability to read and work from fire sprinkler plans and drawings Experience working with commercial fire sprinkler systems Ability to use standard sprinkler fitting tools and equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Preferred:
