This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day jobsite activities, ensuring proper installation of fire alarm systems, coordinating with other trades, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on fire alarm experience, understands codes and compliance requirements, and can manage technicians while keeping projects on schedule. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise fire alarm installation crews on active job sites Install, program, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems and associated devices Read and interpret fire alarm prints, riser diagrams, schematics, and scope documents Coordinate daily work with the Project Manager, GC, and other trades Ensure all installations meet NFPA codes, local jurisdiction requirements, and company standards Conduct site walks to verify readiness, system layout, and material needs Train and mentor technicians on proper installation and testing procedures Maintain accurate daily reports, track materials, and communicate job progress Ensure all jobsite safety protocols and OSHA requirements are followed Assist with inspections, closeout documentation, and final system testing Qualifications 4+ years of fire alarm installation experience 12 years in a lead or foreman role preferred Hands-on experience with common fire alarm systems (Honeywell, Silent Knight, Notifier, Bosch, EST, Fire-Lite, or similar) Ability to install, terminate, and program fire alarm devices and panels Strong understanding of NFPA 72 and local fire codes Ability to read blueprints and understand system layouts Strong leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills Valid drivers license and reliable transportation Ability to work safely and manage jobsite safety for the crew Why Join Us Competitive compensation based on experience Long-term work with steady projects Path for growth into Superintendent or Project Manager roles Supportive team environment with opportunities for additional training Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement depending on company policy #SEG3
