Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking skilled Preaction Sprinkler Inspection Technician to join our team in our Pleasanton, CA office. We are looking for an experienced, professional, self-starting individual, with a strong desire to inspect fire sprinkler, and other life/safety systems.Responsibilities:
Fire Sprinkler inspections who possess the capability to repair deficiencies. Specific skills such as testing fire pumps, annual and five-year sprinkler certifications are required. Candidate would have experience with multiple brands of fire alarm and sprinkler equipment. OSHA 10 Certificate is required. Candidate must also be able to perform repairs on fire sprinkler systems. Resolve field problems through research of multiple alternatives. Communicate and effectively interact with contractors and building owners. Identify and assist with suggested solutions for efficient repairs as needed to complete the scope. Effectively communicate work status to Foreman and Project Manager. Complete all appropriate company paperwork as required. Service and repair fire sprinkler systems.Qualifications:
Candidate should possess good electronic and mechanical skills. Technical understanding and knowledge of automatic sprinkler systems, components, and requirements for testing and repair. Must have strong writing and verbal communication skills. Must be proficient in the use and application of industry related equipment including MS Office including MS Word and Excel. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record. Regular, reliable, predictable attendance. CA Fitter Card required/ earned within the first year.
