JOURNEYMAN FIRE ALARM TECHNICIAN

REQUIREMENTS

• WBFAA Graduated Apprentice and passed Journeyman Exam; 'Blue Card' CFLST
• Customer-friendly demeanor; works well with a wide variety of personalities to build strong relationships and nurture life-long clients.
• Proud of your professional appearance, language, and behavior.
• Currently holds non-expired or is able to obtain BSIS Alarm Company Employee (ACE) card (Fingerprinted background check required to apply for ACE card)
• Currently holds or is able to obtain a valid Driver's License and remain eligible as a driver for company's vehicle insurance ( Driving a company vehicle is a requirement of this position ).
• Exceptional dependability & punctuality; demonstrates respect for and values other people's time.
• Experience installing, testing, and/or servicing commercial and residential Fire & Intrusion Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, Surveillance Systems, including networking, or experience in related industry/trade such as Construction, Electrical, IT/Networks, Cable TV, Low Voltage.

THOUGH NOT REQUIRED, PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO APPLICANTS POSSESSING

• Current or recent experience specifically with DMP, Notifier, Gamewell-FCI, SilentKnight, Firelite, Honeywell, AES Radio, and/or Resideo Security, products.
• NICET training and/or certification.
• Relevant construction trades experience.
• Project Management experience.
