1 We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Fire/Life Safety Technician to join a growing team in Santa Rosa. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to continue building their career with a company that provides training, advancement opportunities, and access to higher prevailing-wage projects .
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must meet one of the following: WBFAA Graduated Apprentice who has passed the Certification Exam and holds a Blue Card
CFLST , OR
Passed the Journeyman Exam , holds a Blue Card , and has completed the WBFAA Accelerated Apprentice Program. Candidates who hold a Blue Card but have not completed the Graduated Apprentice program may be considered with the requirement to complete the Accelerated Apprentice Program and pass the required re-test within the first year. California Fire Life Safety Technician (CFLST) certification required. Minimum 3 years of fire alarm experience required . Valid California driver's license with a DMV record acceptable for company insurance. Current or obtainable BSIS Alarm Company Employee (ACE) Card ; fingerprint background check required. Experience installing, testing, and/or servicing commercial and residential fire/life safety alarm systems . Professional appearance, communication, and customer-service skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Preference will be given to technicians with experience with: DMP Notifier FCI Gamewell Silent Knight Fire-Lite Honeywell AES Radio Resideo Security Intrusion/Burglar Alarm Systems Access Control CCTV / Surveillance Systems IP Cameras Networking Low Voltage Systems Electrical NICET training or certification Construction trades Project Management
RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, test, service, troubleshoot, and maintain fire/life safety alarm systems. Work directly with customers while providing professional technical service. Diagnose system issues and complete repairs accurately. Maintain a professional appearance and customer-friendly demeanor. Follow company safety, quality, and service standards. Build strong customer relationships and represent the company professionally. Continue developing technical skills through company-funded training and apprenticeship programs.

$38•48/hr DOE Opportunity for higher State and Federal prevailing-wage rates on qualified projects.
