Experienced Low Voltage / Security Systems Technician Miami-Dade, Broward & Palm Beach Counties Pro-Tech International Security Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Low Voltage / Security Systems Technician . This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have 10+ years of relevant industry experience and be able to work independently. Responsibilities Install, service, program, and troubleshoot security systems. Work with access control, CCTV/IP cameras, burglar alarms, intercoms, and monitoring systems . Diagnose wiring, hardware, software, programming, and network issues. Troubleshoot IP cameras, switches, routers, PCs, and wireless equipment. Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and system documentation. Test systems and ensure proper operation. Complete service documentation accurately. Train customers on system operation. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 10 years of low-voltage/security industry experience. Strong access control and CCTV experience. Strong low-voltage wiring and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of IP addressing and networking fundamentals . Experience with Honeywell security equipment preferred. Ability to troubleshoot problems independently . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good common sense and sound judgment. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented. Ability to learn new technologies quickly. Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and good driving history. Must pass required background and fingerprint checks. Ability to work throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties . Ability to work indoors and outdoors. Ability to climb, kneel, crouch, and work from ladders. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. , with reasonable accommodations as applicable.
