Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, and access control systems
  • Perform system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
  • Install and terminate cabling for various low voltage systems
  • Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure proper installation and integration of systems
  • Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and configuration of equipment
  • Provide technical support to customers regarding system operation and functionality
  • Conduct site surveys to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate low voltage solutions
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, including IDS, alarm systems, and security systems
  • Experience in cabling installation and termination for low voltage applications
  • Mechanical knowledge for equipment installation and maintenance
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and computer networking equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints for system installation
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues with low voltage systems
