In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of security and low-voltage electrical systems, including alarm systems, CCTV surveillance, access control, sensors, and fire alarm devices. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' security infrastructure operates seamlessly, providing peace of mind and enhanced safety. Responsibilities Install electrical security systems such as alarms, CCTV cameras, access control panels, sensors, and fire alarm devices according to technical schematics and blueprints. Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to identify issues related to equipment malfunction or wiring problems. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical blueprints to ensure accurate system setup and integration. Perform low-voltage electrical wiring and cabling for various security systems using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Provide on-site field service support by diagnosing system faults, repairing equipment, and ensuring optimal operation of security infrastructure. Assist in system design modifications or upgrades based on client needs or technological advancements. Communicate effectively with clients to explain system features, troubleshoot issues remotely when needed, and deliver excellent customer service throughout the installation process. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or installer in electrical security systems or related fields. Strong mechanical knowledge of low-voltage electrical wiring, cabling, and system components such as sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), CCTV cameras, and access control devices. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints related to electrical systems. Familiarity with computer hardware setup, network cabling, computer networking principles, and remote access software. Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for electrical wiring safety and compliance. Experience troubleshooting equipment issues within low-voltage electrical systems or fire alarm installations. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and other installation equipment safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Physical ability to perform installation tasks that require lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred; willingness to travel for on-site installations as needed.
