Job Description

Pulsar Alarm Systems is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler & Fire Alarm Technician for commercial properties throughout Atlanta, GA and surrounding areas. Commercial high-rise experience, NICET certification, and applicable licensing are required. Responsibilities Inspect, test, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems. Perform inspections and testing of wet, dry, fire pump, and other water-based fire protection systems. Inspect and troubleshoot fire alarm panels, initiating devices, notification appliances, flow/tamper switches, and related equipment. Diagnose system deficiencies and perform required repairs. Complete accurate inspection reports, work orders, and deficiency documentation. Work within commercial high-rise environments and coordinate with building personnel as needed. Ensure work complies with applicable NFPA standards, local codes, and AHJ requirements. Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service. Requirements Commercial high-rise fire protection experience
  • Required NICET certification
  • Required Applicable fire sprinkler/fire alarm licensing
  • Required 5+ years of relevant industry experience preferred Valid driver's license in good standing Strong troubleshooting and technical skills Ability to work independently and manage field assignments Ability to work from ladders and in mechanical/equipment areas Ability to lift approximately 50-75 lbs.
