This full-time position focuses on engaging Pre-K students, aged 3-5, within a dedicated Special Education program. Students in this setting may require assistance with daily routines such as toilet training, feeding, and behavior support, and many have limited or non-verbal communication abilities. Qualifications:

Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate with endorsements in both Special and General Education for Pre-K age groups Experience in early childhood or special education, especially with pre-K or early intervention preferred Competence in supporting children with varying levels of need, including non-verbal students and those requiring personal care support Familiarity with behavior management strategies tailored to young children Strong communication skills, collaborative approach, and a positive, nurturing attitude

Responsibilities:

Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for Pre-K students Provide support with toileting, diapering, and feeding as needed Adapt and deliver engaging instructional activities in accordance with each child's development Track progress and document daily activities for each student Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
