Job Description

Responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low-voltage systems. This role supports the successful delivery of projects involving communication, security, and life-safety systems while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements. Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling systems, including data, voice, and fiber optics Install and service low-voltage systems such as access control, CCTV, fire alarm, and intrusion systems Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications Troubleshoot system issues and perform corrective repairs Perform system testing, commissioning, and documentation Ensure work is completed in compliance with NEC, local codes, and company standards Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and clients Adhere to project schedules and quality expectations Overnight Travel is required for this position within the state of Iowa and throughout the country.

$40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
