Shift Pay Range:
$28.00/hour We are seeking a skilled Fire & Security Systems Technician to install, wire, program, test, and service integrated fire and security systems at commercial customer locations. The ideal candidate has hands-on technical experience, can read electrical schematics and blueprints, and is comfortable working with hand and power tools.
Responsibilities:
Install, dismantle, and reconstruct commercial fire and security equipment. Follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation procedures. Program and test security systems to ensure proper operation. Read building, electrical, and sprinkler blueprints as needed. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Coordinate with customers regarding scheduled installations. Test systems and establish communication with monitoring/receiving centers. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Prepare basic installation estimates as directed. Coordinate with emergency service departments when required. Assist with or lead installation teams on larger projects. Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced technicians. Deliver professional customer service at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Technical school training is a plus. Experience with security, fire alarm, low-voltage, or electrical systems preferred. Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics. Comfortable operating hand and power tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and customer-service skills. Ability to safely operate a company vehicle. Ability to work independently at commercial customer sites. (LH-R5) #IND1

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Do you have hands-on experience installing, wiring, or troubleshooting security or fire alarm systems? Are you comfortable reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and/or blueprints? Are you experienced using hand and power tools for installation or repair work? Which systems have you worked with? (Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV/Video Surveillance, Intrusion/Alarm Systems, Low-Voltage Systems, Intercom/Communication Systems): Have you programmed, configured, or tested security/fire alarm systems after installation?
