Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Alarm Technician or Helper, where you'll play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced security and alarm systems. Whether you're an experienced technician or eager to learn, you'll be part of a team dedicated to excellence and innovation in electronic security solutions. Duties Install, test, and service a variety of security systems including alarm, access control, CCTV, sensors, fire alarms, and low-voltage electrical wiring. Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and electrical drawings to ensure precise system setup. Troubleshoot equipment issues using hand tools, power tools, and remote access software to diagnose system faults efficiently. Conduct system design modifications and upgrades based on client needs or evolving security requirements. Perform routine maintenance checks and repairs on field-installed systems to guarantee optimal performance. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system operations and troubleshooting procedures clearly to clients. Assist senior technicians with cabling, wiring, and integration of door security systems and surveillance equipment. Requirements Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in electrical security system installation and troubleshooting. Familiarity with computer hardware, networking, and remote access software used in modern security systems. Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Hands-on experience with low-voltage electrical wiring, cabling techniques, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical issues quickly and effectively. Prior service technician experience in alarm systems or physical security preferred; entry-level helpers encouraged to apply with a strong willingness to learn. Physical ability to work at heights, lift heavy equipment safely, and perform detailed installations in various environments. Pay:
$13.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
