Job Description
Overview We are a leading life safety solutions provider in Southwest Louisiana. We are seeking a reliable, skilled Fire Alarm Technician to install, program, inspect, and service commercial fire alarm systems throughout Southwest Louisiana. Duties Install, program, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems according to NFPA 72 and NFPA 70 guidelines. Perform routine maintenance and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with fire codes and NFPA standards. Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using engineering troubleshooting techniques and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes efficiently. Use hand tools and power tools safely during installation or repair work while adhering to safety protocols for electrical work and low voltage systems.
Experience Proven experience as a fire alarm technician or service technician with hands-on field service expertise in fire alarm system maintenance, installation, or troubleshooting. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
