Our HVAC, lighting, access control and fire alarm products are made in America and carry a lifetime warranty. They run in hospitals, universities, high-rises and industrial facilities across North America. The Role We're hiring a dependable low voltage technician to be Computrols' full-time presence at a large industrial facility in Luling. You'll maintain the site's alarm and notification system and be the customer's first call when something needs attention. This is a steady, long-term position at one site: the same location, the same schedule and the same people every day. It suits someone who takes pride in keeping a system running right and likes a consistent routine. What You'll Do Run the weekly system test and record the results Troubleshoot and repair panels, modules, pull stations, horns and wiring Monitor the system through Computrols software and clear trouble conditions Carry out preventive maintenance and replace parts as needed Answer site staff's day-to-day questions about the system Keep accurate daily time and work records Follow the facility's safety rules and procedures Respond to occasional after-hours calls What We're Looking For Required 2+ years of hands-on low voltage, electrical or electronics experience Comfortable with a multimeter, reading wiring diagrams and basic computer work Reliable and self-motivated, able to work independently at a customer site Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, plus random drug and alcohol testing Valid driver's license Preferred Commercial fire alarm experience A current TWIC card Experience working at a plant or other industrial facility What We Offer A stable, predictable 40-hour schedule at one location Health, dental and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Paid, hands-on training on Computrols systems Computrols, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
