Fire Alarm Security - 4.0 Metairie, LA Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Cable systems installation Equipment installation Ladder use Following blueprint specifications Security systems Performing background checks Facility security systems Fire Alarm License Full Job Description Fire Alarm and Special Systems Technician A territory fire alarm and special systems technician is responsible for ongoing repairs, testing, and upgrades to electronic equipment in commercial buildings. Systems include fire alarms, security systems, and camera systems. New installations must be supervised and integrated into the maintenance and service program. Position requires ability to install cable and devices from ladders as directed by blueprints. Jobsites range from finished commercial buildings to new construction job sites. Candidate should have experience in all aspects of fire alarm installation and service. Burglar alarm experience will be considered. Louisiana State Fire Marshal fire alarm license is required. Experienced candidates from other trades will be considered with understanding pay is dependent on licensing. All candidates must pass drug screen (including hair test) and background check by Louisiana State Police.
