Long-Term Opportunity We are seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to join a growing team servicing commercial customers throughout the Baltimore and Washington DC metropolitan areas. This position is ideal for technicians with installation, service, and troubleshooting experience who are looking to grow their careers in the fire alarm industry. Responsibilities Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial fire alarm systems. Service voice evacuation systems, power extenders, annunciators, and fire alarm dialers. Identify fire alarm deficiencies and recommend corrective actions. Troubleshoot field wiring, initiating devices, notification circuits, and control circuits. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, plans, and technical documentation. Utilize multimeters and testing equipment to diagnose system issues. Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation. Provide excellent customer service while working directly with clients. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours service when required. Qualifications Experience installing and servicing commercial fire alarm systems.

Familiarity with:

Fire-Lite Silent Knight Notifier Simplex Gamewell Siemens Basic electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and use a multimeter. Strong communication and customer service skills. Microsoft Office proficiency. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications NICET Certification or willingness to obtain. Manufacturer certifications. Journeyman or Master Electrician License. Experience troubleshooting and programming fire alarm panels. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights. Ability to work in a variety of commercial environments.
