We are looking for a Full-Time Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing team. Position Overview The Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, service, and installation of commercial fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and takes pride in doing quality work. Responsibilities Inspect, test, service, and troubleshoot commercial fire alarm systems Perform preventative maintenance and identify system deficiencies Diagnose and repair fire alarm system issues Assist with fire alarm installations and system modifications Complete inspection reports, service tickets, and required documentation Communicate professionally with customers and explain system issues or recommendations Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle Follow applicable codes, standards, and company procedures Travel to customer locations throughout our service area Respond to service calls as needed Qualifications Previous fire alarm experience Knowledge of commercial fire alarm systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to read wiring diagrams and system documentation Good communication and customer service skills A valid driver's license Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to safely lift equipment and perform physical job duties Willingness to learn and continue developing technical skills NICET certification and/or relevant fire alarm certifications are a plus, but not required for the right candidate.
