Vigilante Security is looking for dependable, motivated Alarm Technicians who are ready to make a real impact. We're a family-owned company with 40+ years of trusted service across Southeast Michigan, and we're growing fast. What You'll Be Doing As an Installation Technician, you'll play a key role in deploying life safety and security systems across commercial and residential properties. You'll work both independently and collaboratively on installations, helping secure homes, businesses, and institutions with the latest in fire, intrusion, surveillance, and access control systems.Your day-to-day will include:
- Reading blueprints and system layouts
- Running and installing wire per code and manufacturer standards
- Installing, mounting, and testing alarm devices and control panels
- Performing programming and system troubleshooting
- Demonstrating and explaining system operation to clients
What We're Looking For Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- 2+ years of industry experience installing alarm, surveillance, or access control systems
- Electrical or low-voltage background
- Strong communication skills and client-first attitude
- Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work in crawlspaces/attics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ownership and use of hand tools required to perform the job (e.
