The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, strong multitasker, and eager learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment while supporting the safety and security of our customers. This position plays a critical role in monitoring alarm activity, communicating with customers and emergency responders, and ensuring accurate documentation of events. Knowledge and Experience We Value Proven experience in customer service Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to monitor alarm signals and dispatch appropriate authorities for residential and commercial customers Comfortable handling incoming and outgoing calls to verify alarm events Ability to assist customers with alarm system questions or issues Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document alarm events and customer interactions Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability Professional communication skills with the ability to maintain a calm and reassuring demeanor when speaking with customers, 911 dispatchers, and first responders during burglar and life safety events Employment Requirements Valid North Carolina Driver's License Criminal background check Pre-employment and random drug screening Flexible availability Our Central Monitoring Station operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year , so candidates must be available to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
