We are seeking motivated, dependable individuals to join our growing Fire Extinguisher Division. Whether you have industry experience or are looking to begin a rewarding career in fire protection, we provide the tools and support needed to succeed. The Fire Extinguisher Technician is responsible for inspecting, servicing, maintaining, installing, testing, and documenting portable fire extinguishers and related fire protection equipment in accordance with NFPA 10, state regulations, manufacturer specifications, and Hampshire Fire Protection's quality standards. Essential Responsibilities Perform annual inspections of portable fire extinguishers. Conduct six-year maintenance and twelve-year hydrostatic testing. Install new fire extinguishers, cabinets, brackets, and signage. Identify code deficiencies and recommend corrective actions. Inspect emergency and exit lighting (if applicable). Maintain accurate electronic inspection reports using company-issued mobile devices. Communicate inspection findings with customers professionally. Load, unload, and maintain company inventory. Maintain DOT compliance for transportation of regulated cylinders. Perform minor repairs and recharging of extinguishers. Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment. Participate in ongoing technical and safety training. Follow all OSHA, NFPA, DOT, and company safety procedures.
