Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Install, program, and maintain alarm systems for residential and commercial properties.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess the best placement of alarm components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair alarm system malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with clients to determine their specific security needs and recommend appropriate alarm system solutions.
  • Provide training to clients on how to operate and maintain their alarm systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in alarm system technology.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Skills:
  • Strong electrical knowledge and experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for designing alarm system layouts.
  • Familiarity with fire alarm systems and their installation requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience using power tools for installation purposes.
  • Understanding of system design principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of construction inspection processes to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Ability to build, configure, and program alarm systems according to client specifications.
  • Sales skills to promote alarm systems to potential clients.
