Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Install, program, and maintain alarm systems for residential and commercial properties.
- Conduct site surveys to assess the best placement of alarm components.
- Troubleshoot and repair alarm system malfunctions.
- Collaborate with clients to determine their specific security needs and recommend appropriate alarm system solutions.
- Provide training to clients on how to operate and maintain their alarm systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in alarm system technology.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Skills:
- Strong electrical knowledge and experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing alarm system layouts.
- Familiarity with fire alarm systems and their installation requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Experience using power tools for installation purposes.
- Understanding of system design principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of construction inspection processes to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Ability to build, configure, and program alarm systems according to client specifications.
- Sales skills to promote alarm systems to potential clients.
