Job Description

Above & Beyond Fire Safety Security provides a broad range of Fire & Life Safety programs and services to the industries we serve. We are experiencing an exciting time of growth and we want outstanding people who have a strong desire to learn to join our team! This position will be in the Fire Alarm & Security division reporting directly to our Operations Manager. We are looking for a motivated professional to work with a leading life safety company, providing high-quality inspections, service and installation of fire alarm systems.
Responsibilities:
Install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional). Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning per NFPA standards and local codes. Diagnose and repair system malfunctions quickly and effectively. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Supervise and mentor junior technicians and apprentices. Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project managers. Complete accurate and timely documentation and service reports.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in fire alarm installation, service, and inspections. NICET Level II or higher certification (or equivalent experience). Proficient with major systems such as Notifier, EST, Silent Knight, Fire-Lite, or Siemens. Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, local fire codes, and industry best practices. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
