Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician (S12 & S13 required) to join our team. Monthly Inspections, 5-10 Years Inspection, 5-10 Pump Inspection. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and repair fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings
- Perform routine maintenance on fire sprinkler systems
- Test systems to ensure they meet safety standards and local codes
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of sprinkler systems
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with sprinkler systems
- Collaborate with construction teams to integrate sprinkler systems into new building projects Requirements
- Proficiency in blueprint reading for fire protection systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair system components
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience with tools such as calipers, soldering equipment, and rigging tools
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus
- Ability to work in compliance with fire codes and industry standards
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies in the field
