Your hands-on work will involve installing, troubleshooting, and servicing a wide range of security solutions, including alarm systems, CCTV surveillance, access control, and fire alarm systems. Responsibilities Install, configure, and test electrical security systems such as alarms, sensors, CCTV cameras, access controls, and fire alarm devices using schematics and technical drawings. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of low-voltage electrical wiring and equipment to ensure optimal system performance. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to accurately wire and integrate security components within building infrastructure. Perform system diagnostics to identify issues related to alarms, sensors, CCTV footage, networking connectivity, and remote access software. Assist in cabling tasks using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety standards for low-voltage electrical wiring. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions and troubleshooting steps clearly during on-site visits. Support system design modifications or upgrades based on client needs or evolving security protocols. Experience Prior experience as a service technician in electrical security system installation or maintenance is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience with power tools, cabling techniques, and construction environments. Familiarity with computer hardware components related to security systems and telecommunication infrastructure. Proven ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of alarm & access control systems integration including door security system setup and low-voltage electrical wiring. Experience troubleshooting physical security systems such as surveillance cameras (CCTV), sensors (IDS), fire alarms, and remote access software. Background in electrical experience with low-voltage electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and system design principles. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to clients.
