Role:

All Points Security Co Inc is looking for a skilled Alarm Technician to join our team in Downingtown, PA! In this hands-on role, you'll be at the forefront of keeping homes and businesses safe by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security alarm systems. If you're technically minded and passionate about protecting people and property, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Install, program, and configure residential and commercial alarm and security systems Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and testing of alarm equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs Run and terminate low-voltage wiring for alarm panels, sensors, and keypads Communicate with customers to explain system operation and answer technical questions Complete service documentation, work orders, and inspection reports accurately Coordinate with monitoring centers and ensure proper system connectivity

Requirements:

Prior experience in alarm system installation, low-voltage wiring Familiarity with intrusion detection, fire alarm, or access control systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Pennsylvania Alarm License or ability to obtain one preferred Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
