Full Job Description Position Title:

Fire Extinguisher Technician Location:

Reading, PA Duration:

Monday-Friday with some overtime, nights, and weekends as necessary

Wage:

Dependent on level of experience

Job Summary:

Inspect and perform routine maintenance on fire extinguishers in our fill room.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Inspect and perform routine maintenance on fire extinguishers in our fill room
• Ensure fire extinguishers are up to NFPA-10 standards
• Educate customers on the proper fire extinguisher for their building and their environments
• Perform fire extinguisher trainings for customers
• Knowledge about local and national fire safety codes and regulations
• Attend training sessions as assigned
• Complete necessary paperwork
• May be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time

Qualifications/Skills:

• A valid driver's license with a good driving record
• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Demonstrate integrity and honesty.
• Represent the company in a professional manner.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, team player with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience preferred, but not required.
• Detail oriented, problem solver

Basic Computer Skills Physical Requirements:

• Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work off of ladders and lifts.
