Must have an active Fire License We are seeking an experienced Fire Protection Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, testing, installation, and repairs of fire protection equipment and systems in commercial and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will ensure all work meets applicable codes and regulations while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Inspect, test, service, and repair fire extinguishers and fire alarm systems.

Perform preventive maintenance and identify system deficiencies.

Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and complete required repairs.

Install new fire protection equipment and verify proper operation.

Complete inspection reports, service records, and compliance documentation.

Ensure all work complies with Texas Department of Insurance requirements, NFPA codes, and applicable regulations.

Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles.

Follow all OSHA safety requirements and company safety procedures.

Participate in ongoing training to maintain required licenses and certifications.

Required Qualifications:

Valid Fire Technical License required.

3+ years of fire protection industry experience.

High school diploma or GED.

Knowledge of NFPA codes, fire protection systems, and testing procedures.

Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

Ability to lift 20-30 pounds and work on ladders, rooftops, and in confined spaces. Preferred Qualifications

NICET certification preferred.
