This is an approximately 2-year project based in a controlled, air-conditioned manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities Install, pull, route, dress, label, and terminate fire alarm and VESDA piping/wiring within hyperscale data center manufacturing environments Install fire alarm devices and components within hot aisle containment systems, skids, and related assemblies Perform fire alarm pipe, tubing, vessel, and wiring installation according to project plans and specifications Read and interpret fire alarm system layouts from blueprints Troubleshoot and service existing fire alarm systems Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights) Install and support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, etc.) Be willing to travel to other FTI project locations as needed for future assignments Requirements 5+ years demonstrated work history/knowledge in Fire Alarm Systems Current Texas fire alarm licensing/credentialing required for this position Experience with VESDA piping and/or fire alarm systems is strongly preferred Understanding of NEC and NFPA requirements (current codes) Experience troubleshooting panels, devices, and programming systems (Edwards, Silent Knight, FireLite, etc. a plus) BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots) Must have basic hand tools and required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots. Reliable transportation and ability to report to the El Paso, TX facility. Candidates willing to travel long-term to support future FTI projects throughout the country are strongly preferred.
