Overview Join our dynamic team as a Residential Alarms and Cameras Installer, where you will play a vital role in enhancing home security through expert installation and maintenance of alarm systems, CCTV surveillance, access control, and low-voltage electrical wiring. Duties Install, configure, and troubleshoot residential alarm systems, CCTV cameras, sensors, with precision and attention to detail. Perform low-voltage electrical wiring and cabling for security devices using hand tools and power tools. Conduct system testing, calibration, and remote access software configuration to ensure optimal operation of all installed equipment. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or failures by diagnosing issues related to computer hardware, network connectivity, or electrical wiring; provide effective solutions on-site. Collaborate with customers to explain system features, answer questions, and deliver exceptional service that builds trust and satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of installations, service calls, system configurations, and technical support provided for future reference. Qualifications Proven experience as a Service technician or installer specializing in electrical security systems such as alarms, CCTV surveillance or fire alarm. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment for electrical wiring and system installation. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Physical ability to perform installations requiring climbing ladders or working in confined spaces; comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel locally for installations and service calls.
