$90,000-$125,000 Build Your Career in Fire Alarm Systems With a Company That Invests in Its People Are you an experienced fire alarm professional who knows how to install, program, troubleshoot, and bring systems online without needing someone looking over your shoulder? We're hiring a Fire Alarm Specialist to support commercial fire protection projects throughout the greater Seattle and Puget Sound area. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands fire alarm systems from installation through programming, testing, troubleshooting, and final turnover. Our client provides installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair services across the Puget Sound region and takes pride in combining deep technical knowledge with responsive customer service. The right person will bring strong field experience, an active Washington EL06 license , and the ability to work confidently with fire alarm panels and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, program, troubleshoot, test, and commission commercial fire alarm systems. Perform fire alarm panel programming and system configuration. Diagnose system issues and complete repairs or modifications as needed. Read and interpret plans, wiring diagrams, specifications, and technical documentation. Coordinate with customers, contractors, inspectors, and internal project teams. Support system testing, inspections, and final acceptance. Maintain accurate field documentation and service records. Travel throughout the greater Seattle area to active project and customer sites. Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and code compliance.

Qualifications:

Active Washington EL06 license required . Hands-on experience installing and programming fire alarm panels. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Experience with commercial fire alarm systems. Ability to work independently in the field and manage priorities effectively. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Seattle market.

Preferred Qualifications:

Manufacturer or factory certifications on major fire alarm platforms. NICET Level II certification. Experience commissioning and troubleshooting multiple fire alarm system manufacturers. Familiarity with applicable fire alarm codes and inspection requirements.
