General Summary:
The Fire Equipment Technician will assist in the growth of the Fire Equipment line of products here at Hooper.
Principal Accountabilities:
Install kitchen hood systems Inspect fire extinguishers, kitchen fire suppression systems, emergency lighting, and other life safety equipment Complete new installations of fire equipment Recharge fire extinguishers and other related equipment Train others to recharge, install, and inspect equipment Work with other Hooper trades with past, current, and future customers and opportunities Understand and practice workplace safety Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
High school graduate or GED required At least 2-3 years of related experience preferred Completion of certifications in different kitchen fire suppression systems preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Safety-orientated and ability to make decisions without close supervision
Description of Physical Working Environment:
Physically demanding position.
