As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Healthcare Technology & Security Systems Technician who is passionate about technology, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to customers. Position Summary The Healthcare Technology & Security Systems Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of nurse call, wander management, access control, and video surveillance systems. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing service and requires the ability to work independently in healthcare and senior living environments. Responsibilities Install, configure, test, and support nurse call systems Install and maintain wander management and resident safety technologies Install, program, troubleshoot, and repair access control systems Install and support IP video surveillance systems and related equipment Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and communication issues Perform preventative maintenance, system inspections, and upgrades Configure network-connected devices and work collaboratively with customer IT teams Train facility personnel on system operation and basic troubleshooting Complete service reports, project documentation, and maintenance records accurately Provide professional, customer-focused support in occupied healthcare and senior living facilities Participate in an on-call support rotation as needed Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience with electronic systems, security systems, healthcare technology, IT, telecommunications, networking, or related technical fields Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Basic understanding of IP networking and connected devices Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to pass required background screening Ability to be scheduled for out-of-town work up to 50% of the time (home on weekends) Preferred Qualifications Experience with nurse call systems Experience with wander management or resident safety technologies Experience with access control systems Experience with IP video surveillance systems Experience working in healthcare, assisted living, memory care, or senior living environments Manufacturer certifications or industry-specific technical training Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in equipment rooms Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in active healthcare environments Ability to travel throughout Wisconsin and surrounding areas as needed Why Join ClearPath Connections?
