Job Summary :
Security System Installer Advanced / Programmer

EXPERIENCED
Best Defense Fire Protection and Security is seeking a highly skilled experienced security system installer for our Waunakee office. Qualified applicant will have a MINIMUM of two years experience installing AND programming security systems, access control, and IP Video systems.
Duties Include:
Installation of commercial security systems Installation of commercial access control systems utilizing RS2 Technologies controllers and software. Installation of IP video systems and VMS software Service on existing systems Cabling and/or supervision of installation crew for cabling of new installations Panel termination Programming of all above systems Training of customers
Testing Position Requirements:
Minimum of two years experience installing AND programming security alarm panels, access control systems, or IP VMS camera systems. Training will be provided on our specific product line, but applicant must have two years experience terminating and programming other panels. Attention to detail Craftsmanship and pride in the quality of your work. Ability to learn our product lines with factory and lab training. Basic TCP/IP computer networking skills Cat 5e / Cat 6 cabling termination experience Ability to supervise a small installation crew Honesty and integrity at all times Reasonable driving record
