Overview Join our dynamic team as a Collision Repair Technician and become a vital part of restoring vehicles to their original condition! In this energetic role, you'll utilize your expertise in automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and cosmetic refinishing to bring vehicles back to life after collisions. Your hands-on skills in welding, fabrication, and auto painting will ensure each repair meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties Perform comprehensive collision repairs, including structural realignment, sheet metal work, and auto body restoration using advanced welding techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to repair or replace damaged vehicle parts efficiently. Conduct automotive dent repairs, auto glass replacement, and automotive cosmetic repairs to restore vehicles to pristine condition. Apply auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying and automotive body refinishing to achieve a flawless finish. Install automotive parts such as bumpers, panels, glass, and other components with precision and attention to detail. Follow fabrication repair techniques for custom modifications or repairs using sheet metal fabrication skills. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of welding or grinding equipment. Collaborate with team members on auto estimating, vehicle inspection reports, and customer service interactions to ensure satisfaction. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background working as an automotive body technician in a fast-paced environment. Hands-on experience with MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto restoration, and structural repair techniques. Familiarity with auto painting processes including auto body refinishing and airless paint spraying is highly desirable. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive parts installation methods. Experience working with automotive cosmetic repair techniques such as sanding, detailing, and auto glass replacement.
