Your expertise in automotive body repair, welding, fabrication, and finishing will ensure our customers receive top-quality service and vehicles that look and perform like new. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural repairs using advanced welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Operate automotive welding equipment, power tools, sanding tools, and airless paint spraying systems to achieve Install automotive parts such as trim, bumpers, and other components with attention to detail and quality standards. Apply automotive structural repair techniques to ensure vehicle safety and integrity after collision damage. Collaborate with team members on auto restoration projects, ensuring timely completion while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Experience Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role within a dealership or independent shop setting. Strong knowledge of auto body repair processes including auto painting, sanding, detailing, and automotive cosmetic repair. Hands-on experience with MIG welding, soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive welding equipment. Familiarity with automotive parts installation, auto glass replacement, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in auto estimating and customer service is highly desirable. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and sheet metal fabrication tools efficiently. Demonstrated understanding of automotive structural repair standards and auto restoration techniques is preferred.
