Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ADAS Technician to join our team. The ADAS Technician is responsible for the calibration, diagnosis, repair, and testing of advanced driver assistance systems in modern vehicles. This role ensures that safety and driver assistance features function according to OEM specifications, supporting customer safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform static and dynamic calibrations of ADAS components (e.g., cameras, radar, lidar, ultrasonic sensors) following OEM procedures. Diagnose and troubleshoot ADAS-related issues using specialized diagnostic tools and software. Interpret OEM repair procedures and service documentation for system calibrations and repairs. Use scan tools to perform pre- and post-scans and generate reports. Ensure proper sensor alignment after windshield replacements, suspension work, alignments, or collision repairs. Collaborate with body shop, glass, alignment, and mechanical teams to schedule and complete calibrations. Document all repairs and calibrations accurately in compliance with industry and company standards. Maintain calibration equipment and ensure a clean, organized workspace. Stay current with emerging vehicle technologies, OEM training, and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical school or certifications preferred. 2+ years of experience in automotive repair or electronics diagnostics; ADAS-specific experience highly desirable. Knowledge of OEM calibration procedures (Toyota, Ford, Honda, etc.). Experience with scan tools such as Autel, Bosch, Hunter, Texa, or OEM-specific tools. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods. Preferred Certifications (not required but a plus):

I-CAR ADAS

Technician Role training ASE Certifications (particularly A6, A8, and L1) OEM certification or experience (e.g., Subaru, GM, Nissan, etc.)

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a well-lit shop or outdooe area at shop. Vehicle provided for work at other locations. Exposure to vehicle noise, dust, and tools.
