In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through expert repair, refinishing, and painting techniques. Your expertise in automotive structural repair, sheet metal work, and cosmetic enhancements will ensure our customers receive top-quality service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to deliver exceptional results while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural realignment using welding repair, MIG welding, and fabrication techniques. Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs such as sanding, sanding tools usage, and auto body refinishing to achieve a flawless finish. Apply auto paint using airless paint spraying equipment and other painting methods to match vehicle color and texture specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, automotive welding equipment, and fabrication repair techniques to restore vehicle frames and panels. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision and care. Conduct detailed vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs, including automotive dent repair and sheet metal work. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards for heavy lifting, welding, soldering, and working with automotive parts. Collaborate with team members on auto restoration projects and assist in auto estimating when needed to ensure timely completion of repairs. Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or auto repair shop. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, sheet metal fabrication, auto body repair, and cosmetic refinishing techniques. Proficiency with MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and automotive welding equipment. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and automotive parts installation. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive painting equipment. Experience with auto restoration projects and automotive dent repair is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or part replacements. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repair processes. Familiarity with auto estimating processes is a plus but not required.
