In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pristine condition through expert polishing, buffing, and detailing techniques. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle leaves our facility with a flawless exterior finish, exceeding customer expectations. Duties Perform vehicle paint correction and polishing using automotive buffers and polishing compounds to achieve a high-gloss finish Operate standard passenger car equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safe work practices Conduct vehicle exterior washing, cleaning, and detailing to prepare vehicles for delivery or further repair processes Utilize automotive buffing tools and techniques to remove scratches, swirl marks, and surface imperfections Maintain vehicle cleanliness throughout the repair process, ensuring a professional appearance at all times Assist with vehicle interior detailing as needed to provide comprehensive service Use proper lifting techniques for heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle parts or equipment handling Follow auto detailing facility procedures to ensure quality standards are met consistently Qualifications Proven experience as an auto body polisher or in a similar automotive detailing role with a focus on buffing and paint correction Strong knowledge of vehicle paint systems, buffing techniques, and surface preparation methods Ability to operate automotive buffers, polishing machines, and cleaning equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with vehicle exterior washing, interior detailing, and overall auto detailing processes Experience working with manual transmissions is preferred but not required Demonstrated understanding of safe work practices within an auto repair or detailing environment Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about vehicle condition and work performed Physical ability to perform detailed work involving heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and fine motor skills Join our team if you're passionate about automotive excellence!
