Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bodyman to join our dynamic automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through expert bodywork, welding, and fabrication techniques. Your expertise will help ensure our customers receive high-quality repairs with attention to detail and craftsmanship. Duties Perform automotive body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work using MIG welding, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to shape, align, and restore vehicle structures Conduct auto body refinishing tasks such as auto painting, auto glass installation, and automotive cosmetic repair to achieve a flawless finish Repair and replace automotive parts including panels, trim, and glass while ensuring proper fitment and alignment Execute automotive structural repairs involving welding repair, sheet metal fabrication, and auto restoration projects Use auto estimating skills to assess damage severity and determine necessary repairs while maintaining high standards of quality control Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as detailing, auto parts installation, and light mechanical work when needed Adhere to safety protocols during heavy lifting, welding operations, and the use of airless paint spraying equipment Skills Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a dealership environment with a focus on auto body repair Strong proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment operation Extensive knowledge of automotive structural repair, sheet metal fabrication, and auto restoration techniques Skilled in auto painting, sanding tools usage, auto glass installation, and cosmetic repair methods Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation Familiarity with auto estimating processes and customer service principles within an automotive setting Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other workshop equipment safely and efficiently Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in various positions for extended periods Excellent attention to detail combined with a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship in every project Join our team to bring your expertise in automotive bodywork to life!
