Overview Join us in providing the same type of excellent auto body repairs we have performed for over 52 years. We are looking for a Paint Prepper with more than one year of shop experience. Our Preppers play a key role in expertly preparing surfaces so our Painters can apply high quality product flawlessly to each and every vehicle we repair. We maintain ICAR Gold status so our technicians are required to attend classes and also train in-house. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning Use surface preparation masking techniques to protect non-painted areas during spraying. Operate spray guns for applying primers, paints, and coatings with precision and consistency. Utilize grinders, sanders, and other power tools to smooth surfaces and remove imperfections. Able to achieve a high-quality finish on repairs by sanding, buffing and polishing Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and functioning.

Requirements:

Experienced and has a strong understanding of automotive surface preparation. Hands-on experience with sanding, masking, grinding, buffing, and painting techniques. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, grinders, spray guns, and other relevant equipment. Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.

Pay:

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
