In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for customers needing collision repair estimates and vehicle assessments. Your expertise will ensure accurate damage evaluations, seamless communication with clients, and precise estimation of repair costs. By leveraging your automotive knowledge and estimating skills, you'll help drive customer satisfaction and support efficient shop operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about automotive repair, customer service, and sales to thrive in a fast-paced environment dedicated to quality and excellence. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess collision and repair needs using computer-aided estimating software. Prepare detailed, accurate repair estimates that include parts, labor, paint, and additional services such as mechanical repairs or component replacements. Communicate clearly with customers regarding the scope of repairs, costs, and timelines to ensure transparency and build trust. Collaborate with technicians, mechanics, and service advisors to confirm repair procedures align with manufacturer standards and safety protocols. Identify opportunities for upselling additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, or transmission diagnostics to maximize shop revenue. Maintain detailed records of estimates, repair orders, and client communications while ensuring all documentation complies with company policies. Assist in managing client relationships by providing exceptional customer service throughout the repair process and addressing any concerns promptly. Experience Proven experience as an auto body estimator or in a similar automotive service role within a dealership or collision repair environment. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems . Familiarity with estimating software platforms such as CCC ONE or Audatex is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics and understanding of mechanical repairs enhances estimation accuracy. Demonstrated ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust. Excellent communication skills for clear client interaction and team collaboration.
