Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician to join our team. Paid Holidays , 1 weeks vacation and 401k Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural repairs using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to shape, fabricate, and restore vehicle panels and structures. Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs including auto painting, auto body refinishing, sanding, detailing, and applying airless paint spraying techniques. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision and care. Execute automotive structural repairs on sheet metal using fabrication repair techniques; ensure all repairs meet safety standards. Assist with auto restoration projects by applying fabrication skills and automotive parts installation expertise. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols; handle heavy lifting safely during vehicle repairs. Collaborate with team members on vehicle maintenance tasks and provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes when needed. Support auto estimating processes by assessing damage severity and recommending appropriate repair solutions. Experience Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or independent shop setting. Strong background in auto body repair techniques including welding (MIG welding preferred), sheet metal fabrication, sanding, painting, and detailing. Hands-on experience with automotive structural repair, auto restoration projects, and cosmetic refinishing is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems to assist with auto maintenance tasks when necessary. Familiarity with automotive parts installation procedures including auto glass replacement and assembly work. Proficiency with automotive welding equipment, airless paint sprayers, soldering tools, and working with power tools. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to accurately estimate repairs based on damage assessment.
