In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition using advanced auto body repair techniques. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle meets our high standards for quality, safety, and aesthetics. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural repairs using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive painting equipment to restore vehicles' appearance and structural integrity. Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs, auto painting, and auto restoration projects with precision and attention to detail. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, trim, and other components ensuring proper fitment and function. Apply fabrication repair techniques including working with sheet metal, fabricating custom parts, and performing welding repairs to meet specific vehicle needs. Use auto estimating software to assess damage, prepare repair plans, and communicate effectively with customers about repair processes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to heavy lifting, use of airless paint spraying equipment, and handling hazardous materials. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician in a dealership or collision center environment. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication techniques, and automotive welding equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and automotive structural components. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, auto painting equipment, and detailing supplies. Knowledge of auto body repair procedures including auto restoration, automotive cosmetic repair, and auto refinishing. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate large machinery or equipment as needed. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate repair processes clearly. Familiarity with auto estimating software and parts installation procedures is preferred. Valid experience in dealership or collision repair shop settings is highly desirable.
