Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician with bilingual abilities to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality automotive body repairs, including structural, cosmetic, and restoration work. Responsibilities Perform automotive structural repairs, auto body repairs, and cosmetic refinishing using advanced welding, sanding, and painting techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and fabrication repair methods to restore vehicle frames and panels accurately. Operate various hand tools, power tools, automotive welding equipment, and sanding tools efficiently and safely. Conduct auto restoration projects, including sheet metal work, auto painting, auto glass replacement, and detailing to achieve a flawless finish. Install automotive parts such as bumpers, trim pieces, auto glass, and other components with precision. Assess vehicle damage through auto estimating processes and communicate repair needs clearly to customers. Handle heavy lifting safely while working on complex repairs that require mechanical knowledge and automotive parts installation expertise. Skills Proven experience working as an automotive body technician within a dealership or similar setting. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair techniques, and sheet metal fabrication. Proficiency with welding repair—including MIG welding—and automotive welding equipment. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of vehicle maintenance and general automotive repair processes. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and other automotive repair tools. Ability to perform auto painting, automotive cosmetic repair, auto restoration, and detailing with attention to quality standards. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate repair processes clearly; bilingual abilities are preferred but not required. Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and the stamina to stand or walk for extended periods during repairs. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
