BODY SHOP ESTIMATOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspect vehicles and prepare accurate collision repair estimates Write repair estimates using estimating software (CCC, Mitchell, Audatex) Communicate with customers regarding repair timelines and costs Work directly with insurance companies and adjusters Review damage and coordinate repairs with technicians Manage supplements and ensure all repairs are properly documented Maintain compliance with industry standards and insurance requirements Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and communication

BODY SHOP ESTIMATOR QUALIFICATIONS

Experience as a body shop estimator, collision estimator, or damage appraiser Knowledge of collision repair processes and estimating systems Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work with insurance companies and handle claims Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

BODY SHOP ESTIMATOR SKILLS

Strong skills in collision estimating, damage analysis, repair planning, and insurance coordination. Experience using estimating systems such as CCC, Mitchell, and Audatex. Skilled in writing accurate repair estimates, handling supplements, and managing insurance claims. Knowledge of body shop operations, collision repair procedures, parts identification, labor times, and repair order management. Ability to communicate with customers, technicians, and insurance adjusters to ensure efficient repair processes.
