Crooker Construction is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Autobody Technician/Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion and hands-on experience in various aspects of auto body work and painting. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and equipment. The Autobody Technician/Painter will play a crucial role in ensuring that trucks and equipment are restored to high-quality expectations from start to finish. This is a full-time, year-round position. The budget pay for this position ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 and will vary depending on how well an applicant's skills and experience align with the job description. Duties/Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs on trucks and equipment.
Including but not limited to:
disassembly and reassembly, dent removal, panel replacement, prime and paint, rust repair, along with wet sanding and buffing. Utilize hand tools and paint equipment for painting and finishing work. Collaborate with team members to assess damage and determine the best repair methods. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, always adhering to safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in auto-body repair and painting is a must. Strong skills in using hand tools and equipment specific to the autobody and painting trade. Including grinders and sanders, paint sprayers, understanding paint codes and mixing paint. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and restorations. A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is essential for this role. Benefits The company is 100% employee owned.
