Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bodyman/Welder to join our dynamic automotive team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality body repairs, welding, and fabrication work on a variety of vehicles. Your expertise will help restore vehicles to their optimal condition, ensuring safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities Perform automotive body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural repairs using MIG welding and other fabrication techniques Utilize automotive welding equipment to repair or replace damaged panels and frames with precision and safety in mind Conduct auto body refinishing tasks such as sanding, sanding tools usage, auto painting, and detailing to achieve a flawless finish Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with proper assembly methods Apply automotive cosmetic repair techniques to restore vehicle appearance and ensure customer satisfaction Use hand tools and power tools effectively for welding repair, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly tasks Follow auto estimating procedures to assess damage and determine necessary repairs while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background working as an automotive body technician preferred Strong MIG welding skills with knowledge of fabrication repair techniques and automotive welding equipment Hands-on experience with auto body repair, auto restoration, and automotive structural repair processes Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation Familiarity with auto painting, sanding tools, automotive cosmetic repair, and auto refinishing techniques Experience working with sheet metal, soldering, heavy lifting, and the use of various hand tools and power tools Customer service skills combined with auto estimating experience are a plus for providing comprehensive service to clients Join our team if you're ready to bring your welding expertise and body repair skills into a vibrant environment where craftsmanship is celebrated!
