Premier Auto Styling is looking for an experienced and dependable Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position focused primarily on body repair, vehicle preparation, disassembly and reassembly, and finishing work. However, we operate as a team, and we are looking for someone who is willing to step outside of their primary responsibilities when needed to help keep the entire shop moving. The right person will take pride in their work, bring a positive attitude to the shop, and understand that our ultimate goal is taking care of the customer. Responsibilities Perform basic to moderate automotive body repairs Repair dents, damaged panels, and other body imperfections Prepare vehicles and parts for paint, including sanding, masking, and surface preparation Remove and reinstall bumpers, trim, lights, panels, and other vehicle components as needed Assist with vehicle disassembly and reassembly Complete finishing work after paint, including wet sanding and buffing as needed Wash and clean vehicles following repairs Inspect completed work for quality Install automotive accessories and upfit components as needed for retail and wholesale customers Assist other technicians and departments when time allows Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop Participate in general shop cleaning and daily upkeep Properly care for tools, equipment, vehicles, and customer property Help keep work moving efficiently through the shop What We're Looking For We are looking for more than technical ability. Compensation Body repair work is paid on a flat-rate basis. Compensation will be based on experience, skill level, and the type of work the technician is qualified to perform. About the Position This position will primarily support our body and paint operations, but it is not limited to one area of the shop. When body repair work is caught up, this person may assist with accessory installation, vehicle upfitting, finishing work, cleaning, or other production needs.
